Prior to becoming the newest member to the Team Titan of Titan Poker, Canadian poker prodigy has never run out of storm. Canadian born on April 16, 1986 in Toronto Sorel “Imper1um” Mizzi becomes skilled to play poker in his teens. Mizzi began playing online, where he became great friends with online star Josh ‘JJProdigy’ Fields.
Soon, Sorel was squashing the highest stakes online tournaments with shocking regularity. He stayed one of only a few players who possess two FTOPS titles and, all told, his online tournament winnings surpassed $1 million.
Mizzi has been equally remarkable on the live tournament circuit, where he’s cashed in multiple World Series of Poker, European Poker Tour and World Poker Tour events.
Sorel started 2010 off with a bash by closing third at the Aussie Millions Poker Championship for $659K.
Regardless of the controversy, Sorel Mizzi’s career has not suffered. He is recently sponsored by Titan Poker and he still dominates tournaments both online and live.

Canadian poker prodigy is provided with no less lucrative prize, and he has already picked up $659,000 for finishing third at the Aussie Millions Poker Championship, as well as winning the EPT Snowfest for $95,000 and the Borgata Spring Poker Open for $170,000.
Despite his successes, Sorel Mizzi is not without controversy, after he took over his friend Chris Vaughn’s account, which at the time was in the middle of playing a tournament, Mizzi won the tournament but the duos were later disqualified from the event and Vaughn subsequently lost his job as Managing Editor of Bluff Magazine.
Previously a sponsored member of Team Betfair, Mizzi is now looking forward to his new home at Titan Poker, and for all those budding poker players looking to emulate his success, he offers the following advice: “Play within your bankroll.
