Sorel has long since been an online poker big name, with victories in PokerStars’ Sunday Warm-Up for $80K on top as two Full Tilt Series of Online Poker titles. On the live tournament track, Mizzi has a third place finish at the 2007 Paddy Power Irish Open for $280K, a third place closing at the 2008 World Series of Poker Europe $5K Pot Limit Omaha for $240K, and a $253K cash for second in the 2009 WSOP Pot Limit Omaha.

More lately, Mizzi finished third at the 2010 Aussie Millions Poker Championship for $659K. He pursued that up by winning an event at the Borgata Spring Poker Open for $170K and the European Poker Tour Snowfest for $95K. In addition to his $1 million and more in online winnings, Sorel has more than $2.5 million in live tournament earnings.
